Hi, y’all! I’m Gabby Ramirez, proud mayor of Crystal Creek and owner of  Cowboy Café.

I was born and raised right here in Crystal Creek and graduated from Crystal Creek High School in 1987. I served in student government all four years, was elected student body president my senior year, and somehow still found time for debate team and National Honor Society. I guess you could say servin’ this town has always been part of my life.

I come from a family of public servants. My daddy served as sheriff for more than thirty years, and these days my son, Deputy Riggs Ramirez, proudly carries on that tradition. Knowing our town is in good hands means more to me than words can say.

Being mayor is one of the greatest honors of my life, but around here most folks know me just as well for the chicken-fried steak and homemade pie at Cowboy Café. Pull up a chair long enough and chances are you’ll leave with a full stomach, a fresh cup of coffee, and a few new friends.

I’m also proud to serve on the Six Days of Texmas Committee. And yes, you heard that right...six days, not twelve.

Years ago, our town decided we’d rather celebrate six unforgettable days than stretch ourselves thin trying to do twelve. That way we can keep our beautiful town square looking its best all year long while still puttin’ on a Christmas celebration folks talk about long after the decorations come down.

From the Reindeer Run to the Boots & Bling Ball, every tradition brings our community together in its own special way. Around here, Christmas isn’t measured by the number of days on the calendar, it’s measured by the memories we make together.

Whether you’re visitin’ Crystal Creek for the first time. comin’ back to see old friends, or just passin’ through, I’m delighted you’re here.

I’m Ernest Ernst, owner of Ernest Gas N Go.

If your gas gauge is low, your stomach’s growlin’, or you need directions to just about anywhere in Crystal Creek, you’ve come to the right place.

I’ve lived here all my life, and there’s not much that happens around town that doesn’t eventually make its way through my front door. That’s one of the nice things about ownin’ the gas station. Everybody stops by sooner or later.

I’m proud to serve on the Six Days of Texmas Committee. Plannin’ Christmas for an entire town takes a lot of work, but seeing folks gather together year after year makes every bit of it worthwhile.

When I’m not at the station, I’m usually lendin’ a hand wherever it’s needed, spendin’ time with my donkey,Loretta, or collectin’ interestin’ facts. You never know when one might come in handy.

People are always in such a hurry these days. I think that’s a shame.

Some of the best conversations start while the gas tank is fillin’ up.

Come on in Sugar!

I’m Bev Logan, owner of Bev’s Beauty Box, where we fix bad hair decisions, solve the world’s problems, and serve sweet tea one appointment at a time.

My sister, Lisa, and I grew up believin’ that a little (okay, maybe a lot) hairspray, some sparkle, and a whole lot of Christmas spirit could fix just about anything. She carried on our family’s sewing tradition at Tinsel Tailors while I found my calling helping folks look and feel their very best. Between the two of us, we managed to keep Crystal Creek lookin’ pretty year-round.  

Now, don’t let the salon fool you. Sure, people come in for a trim or a color, but they stay for the conversation. If these styling chairs could talk…well, let’s just say they know more about Crystal Creek than Ernest Ernst and that’s sayin’ a lot.

As a proud member of the Six Days of Texmas Committee, I believe every celebration deserves a little extra sparkle. Whether we’re decoratin’ town square, plannin’ the homecoming parade, or makin’ sure everyone’s camera-ready, I’m happy to do my part.

I’ve always said confidence is the prettiest thing a person can wear.

Although a fresh hairstyle certainly doesn’t hurt.

So if you’re visitin’ Crystal Creek, stop by Bev’s Beauty Box. We’ll fluff your hair, pour you a glass of sweet tea, and catch you up on everything you’ve missed.

Just don’t expect to leave lookin’ the same as when you walked in.

Howdy! I'm Billy Paul Biscamp.

I've been deliverin’ the mail ‘round Crystal Creek for a long time…long enough to remember when Ernest still had hair. We played football together back in high school, so I've earned the right to remind him of that every chance I get. And before you get any ideas, nobody else is allowed to.

Around here, deliverin’ the mail isn't just about letters and packages, it's about checkin’ in on neighbors, catchin’ up with old friends, and makin’ sure nobody feels forgotten.

Now every now and then Ernest tells me somethin’ interestin’, and if it sounds important, I figure other folks probably ought to know too. That's just being neighborly.

The Six Days of Texmas is my favorite time of year. You'll find me lendin’ a hand wherever I'm needed, but one of my greatest honors is serving’as Santa Claus and runnin’ the Kissmas Booth during the Lone Star Carnival. I don't know who enjoys it more, the kids, the sweethearts stealin’ a kiss under the mistletoe, or me gettin’ to see the whole town together.

Truth be told, that's what I love most about Crystal Creek. It doesn't matter if you've lived here your whole life or you're just passing through. Before long, somebody knows your name, somebody waves when you drive by, and before you know it... you feel like you belong.

So if you see me out on my mail route, or in my red suit during Texmas, be sure to say hello. There's always time for a friendly conversation.

I’m Marlene Miller, Fire Chief of Crystal Creek.

Most folks around town know me as the person who can put out a fire and put out whatever tall tale Ernest Ernst happens to be tellin' that day. 

I was born and raised right here in Crystal Creek. Back in high school I was a cheerleader, had the honor of being named Miss Crystal Creek, and was one of The Girls...a title that's stuck with us ever since. Bev, Gabby, Lisa, and I grew up together and have shared every chapter of life...the good times and the hard ones. We lost Lisa last Christmas, but she's still part of every gathering, every story, and every Christmas celebration. Around here, that's just how family works.

I have the privilege of leadin' the finest firefighters in Texas. Around the station we laugh a lot, but when the alarm goes off, it’s all business. Protectin' this town and the people who call it home is the greatest honor of my life.

When I’m not at the firehouse, you’ll usually find me workin' on the Six Days of Texmas, or catchin' up with the girls over at Bev’s Beauty Box. Around here, if you’re lookin' for one of us, chances are you’ll find all three.

Now, if Ernest tells you he won one of our arguments…

I’m Riggs Ramirez, deputy sheriff here in Crystal Creek.

I was born and raised in this town, and I can’t imagine callin' anywhere else home. My granddaddy wore the sheriff’s badge for more than thirty years, and I’m proud to carry on my family’s tradition of servin' the people of Crystal Creek.

Most mornings begin with coffee at Cowboy Café before I head out on patrol. The rest of the day is anybody’s guess. Maybe I’m helpin' someone whose truck won’t start, checkin' on an elderly neighbor, or answerin' one of Ernest’s calls about mysterious happenings out on Rural Route 80. In Crystal Creek, the badge means a lot more than enforcing the law. It means showin' up whenever your neighbors need you, even if all they really need is someone willin' to listen.

The Six Days of Texmas is one of my favorite times of the year. Whether I’m helpin' with the Reindeer Run, directing traffic during the Lone Star Carnival, or makin' sure everyone gets home safely after the Boots & Bling Ball, I’m proud to do my part. Protectin' this town also means celebrating alongside the people who call it home.

Crystal Creek has a way of takin' care of its own. That’s something I’ve believed my whole life, and it’s a big reason I chose to wear this badge.

If you happen to see me around town, don’t be afraid to say hello.

Hi! I’m Heather Williams, Chairperson of the Six Days of Texmas Committee.

I was born and raised right here in Crystal Creek, and some of my favorite childhood memories were made during the Six Days of Texmas. I grew up watchin' the town come together every Christmas, and before long I was volunteering right alongside everyone else.

Over the years, I learned from the very best...Lisa Weber.

Lisa had an incredible gift for bringin' people together.  She poured her heart into the Six Days of Texmas, and because of her, countless families have memories they’ll cherish forever.

Plannin' the Six Days of Texmas may look effortless, but it’s a year-round labor of love. It takes an incredible team of volunteers, local businesses, and neighbors who believe in this town and show up for one another.

That’s what makes Crystal Creek so special.

I can’t wait to welcome you to this year’s celebration.
